Actor for film and theatre, in four languages.

Benno Steinegger began acting during his studies in Florence and trained as an actor in London (MFA, Royal Central School of Speech and Drama). He works in different countries and languages and likes to challenge his sensibility as an actor and to work with the body in always new projects.

He has appeared in films by Terrence Malick, Jens Jonsson, Roberto Faenza, Giovanni Aloi, Sergio Rubini and Giacomo Battiato. In theatre and performance he has worked with Yan Duyvendak, Roger Bernat, Francesca Grilli, Jesse Ash, Kinkaleri, Motus, Michael Portnoy/Promt, Deflorian/Tagliarini, Kate McIntosh, Jessica Glause and Helle Siljeholm.
